- Information on how to participate and the prize(s) form part of these Terms and Conditions. Participation in this promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
- Entry is only open to Australian residents (excluding NT) aged 18 years or over.
- Employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter, Participating Stores (defined below) and agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to participate. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or step-child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or 1st cousin.
- Entries into the promotion open on 21/08/23 and close at 11:59pm AEDT on 01/10/23 (“Promotional Period”).
- To be eligible to enter the promotion, entrants must purchase any specially marked Coopers Australian Lager product (marked with ‘First Drop’ on the base of can) (a “Participating Product”) in a single transaction at a Participating Store during the Promotional Period (“Qualifying Transaction”). For clarity, a Participating Product can be either a single 375ml can, a 6 pack cluster or a 24 pack carton, so long as the product is specially marked as “First Drop”. A participating store is any retailer in Australia that stocks the Promoter's products and displays advertising material featuring this promotion (“Participating Store”).
- To enter, after completing their Qualifying Transaction, entrants must then complete the following steps during the Promotional Period:
- Visit www.winwithcoopers.com.au/firstdrop;
- Follow the prompts to the promotion entry page;
- Input the requested details including their Participating Product's Timestamp (as defined in clause 9), entrant's full name, address, postcode, State/Territory, email address and phone number;
- Upload their purchase receipt and a clear photo of the base of their First Drop product can clearly showing the Timestamp; and then
- Submit the fully completed entry form.
In the event a purchase receipt is not automatically provided to the entrant by a member of staff at the time of making their Qualifying Transaction, it is the entrant's responsibility to request such material.
- Entrants who are deemed provisional instant winners will be notified instantly on-screen that they have provisionally won an instant prize. Once validated, winners who reside outside of NSW will be sent an email advising them that their instant prize will be dispatched within twenty-eight (28) days. Winners who reside inside of NSW will be sent an email advising them they will receive an SMS with instructions on how to redeem their instant prize including how to claim their Digital Vault Pays-enabled Mastercard®, as applicable within ten (10) days. For clarity, non-winning entrants will be notified instantly on screen.
- Instant prize winner's first initial, last name and State/Territory of residence will be published online at www.winwithcoopers.com.au/firstdrop from 01/10/23.
- Participating Products will contain a timestamp on the base of each can (“Timestamp”). A total of three (3) eligible Timestamps will be released on the Promoter's social media pages in
accordance with the table below. To be eligible to enter a relevant Draw (as defined below), entrants must complete a Qualifying Transaction which includes the purchasing of a Participating Product with the specific
eligible Timestamp that has been called out by the Promoter. Once entrants have completed their Qualifying Transaction with a Participating Product that has an eligible Timestamp, they must then complete the entry
process pursuant to clause 6, on or before the relevant time, as indicated in the table below, and upon doing so, entrants will be entered into the relevant Draw as detailed below:

- For clarity, entrants who have purchased a Participating Product that does not have a called out/eligible Timestamp in accordance with the above will not be eligible to enter any Draw, however they will still be eligible to win an instant prize.
- Multiple entries permitted, subject to the following: (a) only one (1) entry is permitted per Qualifying Transaction regardless of the number of Participating Products purchased in that transaction in excess of one (1); (b) only one (1) entry is permitted per person per day; and (c) each entry must be submitted separately and in accordance with entry requirements.
- Entrant must retain proof of purchase. The proof of purchase required is an original or copy of the original receipt. Purchase receipt(s) must clearly specify the store of purchase, that a Qualifying Transaction was made and that the Qualifying Transaction was made during the Promotional Period but prior to entry. Failure to produce the proof of purchase for all entries when requested may, in the absolute discretion of the Promoter, result in invalidation of ALL of an entrant's entries and forfeiture of any right to a prize.
- The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant's identity, age and place of residence) and reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who the Promoter has reason to believe has breached any of these Terms and Conditions, tampered with the entry process or engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardise fair and proper conduct of the promotion. Errors and omissions may be accepted at the Promoter's discretion. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights. The Promoter's legal rights to recover damages or other compensation from such an offender are reserved.
- Incomplete or indecipherable entries will be deemed invalid.
- If there is a dispute as to the identity of an entrant, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to determine the identity of the entrant.
- There will be three (3) prize draws conducted for this promotion, in accordance with each Timestamp, as outlined in clause 9 (each a “Draw”). Entries into each Draw open and close on the
dates/times indicated in the table below. All Draws will take place at Immediate Pty Ltd, 111/87 Gladstone Street, South Melbourne, VIC, 3205 on the dates/times indicated below. The Promoter may draw additional reserve
entries and record them in order in case an invalid entry or ineligible entrant is drawn. Winners will be notified by telephone and email within two (2) business days and winners will have their names published online at
www.winwithcoopers.com.au/firstdrop on the dates outlined in the table below. All non-winning entries in any Draw will NOT be entered into all
subsequent Draws.

- The first valid entry drawn in Draw 1 will win 6 x cases of Coopers Australian Lager and 1 x oil painting (total value of $452).
- The first valid entry drawn in Draw 2 will win 12 x cases of Coopers Australian Lager (total value of $804).
- The first valid entry drawn in Draw 3 will win 12 x cases of Coopers Australian Lager and 1 x storage vessel for beer (total value of $1,304).
- For clarity, the storage vessel for beer is not seaworthy or registered and for the purposes of storage only.
- Prize winners will receive one (1) case of beer each month, as follows:
- Draw 1: one (1) case of beer each month for six (6) months; and
- Draws 2 and 3: one (1) case of beer each month for twelve (12) months.
- Subject to the unclaimed prize draw clause, if, for any reason, a winner does not a take prize (or an element of the prize) by the time stipulated by the Promoter, then the prize (or that element of the prize) will be forfeited.
- No more than 20 litres of alcohol will be won by New South Wales residents. Once/if 20 litres of alcohol has been won by New South Wales residents, cash will be awarded in lieu of the remaining alcohol prize(s) in New South Wales, this portion of the prize will be in the form of a Digital Vault Pays-enabled Mastercard.
- Any ancillary costs associated with redeeming the Digital Vault Pays-enabled Mastercard are not included. The Digital Vault Pays-enabled Mastercard must be activated within 2 months of issue and is valid for 12 months after activation. At expiry of the Digital Vault Pays-enabled Mastercard any unused balance will be forfeited. Eligible Customers will not receive notice prior to expiry. Card expiry and balance can be found on your mobile device in their digital wallet. - There are a total of two hundred (200) instant prizes to be won, which will be random allocated to provisional winners throughout the Promotional Period in accordance with the following amounts:
- 25 x Australian Lager cases (valued at $67 each);
- 25 x Australian Lager T-shirts (valued at $30 each); and
- 150 x Australian Lager 6 packs (valued at $24 each).
- If a prize (or part of a prize) is unavailable, the Promoter, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the prize (or that part of the prize) with a prize to the equal value and/or specification, subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority.
- The prize does not include any cost or expense associated with redeeming a prize.
- Total prize pool value is $8,585. Prizes, or any unused portion of a prize, are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash, unless otherwise stated.
- A draw for any prizes, if unclaimed, may take place on 01/11/23 at the same time and place as the original draw, subject to any directions from a regulatory authority. The winner(s), if any, will be notified by email and will be published at www.winwithcoopers.com.au/firstdrop on 08/11/23.
- The Promoter encourages consumers to enjoy responsibly. Legal aged consumers are advised to consider the safe drinking levels recommended in the National Health & Medical Research Council Australian Alcohol Guidelines that are available at www.nhmrc.gov.au. Entry and continued participation in this promotion is subject to the licensee's liquor serving policy.
- Entrants consent to the Promoter using their name, likeness, image and/or voice in the event they are a winner (including photograph, film and/or recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited period without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this promotion (including any outcome), and promoting any products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoter.
- If this promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, including but not limited to technical difficulties, unauthorised intervention or fraud, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law: (a) to disqualify any entrant; or (b) subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority, to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the promotion, as appropriate.
- Any cost associated with accessing the promotional website is the entrant's responsibility and is dependent on the Internet service provider used.
- Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits, excludes or modifies or purports to limit, exclude or modify the statutory consumer guarantees as provided under the Competition and Consumer Act, as well as any other implied warranties under the ASIC Act or similar consumer protection laws in the States and Territories of Australia (“Non-Excludable Guarantees”). Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded, including the Non-Excludable Guarantees, the Promoter (including its respective officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the promotion.
- Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded, including the Non-Excludable Guarantees, the Promoter (including its respective officers, employees and agents) is not responsible for and excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter's control); (b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; (c) any entry or prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (d) any variation in prize value to that stated in these Terms and Conditions; (e) any tax liability incurred by a winner or entrant; or (f) use of a prize.
- The Promoter collects personal information ("PI") in order to conduct the promotion and may, for this purpose, disclose such PI to third parties, including but not limited to agents, contractors, service providers, prize suppliers and, as required, to Australian regulatory authorities. Entry is conditional on providing this PI. The Promoter will also use and handle PI as set out in its Privacy Policy, which can be viewed at https://coopers.com.au/privacy. In addition to any use that may be outlined in the Promoter's Privacy Policy, the Promoter may, for an indefinite period, unless otherwise advised, use the PI for promotional, marketing, publicity, research and profiling purposes, including sending electronic messages or telephoning the entrant. The Privacy Policy also contains information about how entrants may opt out, access, update or correct their PI, how entrants may complain about a breach of the Australian Privacy Principles or any other applicable law and how those complaints will be dealt with. All entries become the property of the Promoter. The Promoter will not disclose PI to any entity outside of Australia.
